Libraries in pay phones

The Atlantic cities reported, unused pay phones become pop-up libraries in NYC because of one Columbia architecture grad. John Locke says: “There are 13,695 pay phones on NYC sidewalks, even though there are 17 million cell phones. Is the pay phone an anachronism or an opportunity?”

I love this guy’s optimism and ingenuity.

(Also, guerilla bookstores and a the last (guerilla) bookshop.)
